PMA-Zeolite® based Medical Devices

Ecobase GmbH

Ecobase GmbH Pharma Division distributes a modified zeolite cristal called PMA-zeolite® for pharmaceutical use. We export PMA-zeolite raw material to USA and Asia. In EU we provide zeolite based Medical Devices. Ecobase GmbH and Panaceo GmbH pharmaceutical experts are focused since 1999 on investigating the 'health impact' of the 'daily intoxication' and related (chronic) inflammatory diseases. The incontrollable percentage of synergic daily toxic substances and inappropriate nutritional habits creates a background of growing inflammation. The mission of the Ecobase is to provide help in order to reduce the daily toxicity damage on intestinal wall, mainly due to Toxins (including pesticides), Free Radicals, Ammonium and Heavy Metals.

All PMA-zeolite based medical devices are class IIb and are recognizable by the CE mark on the product in accordance with Directive 93/42 EEC.

  • Support the microbiome
  • Strengthen the intestinal mucosa and liver
  • Selectively bind ammonium and harmful substances* in the intestine and drains them
  • Bind environmental pollutants* in the gastrointestinal tract and safely eliminates them through the stool
  • Positively influence well-being and health by supporting the immune system
  • Sustainable through retox stop - protects the intestines from reabsorbing pollutants
  • Reduce local and systemic inflammation and thereby relieve downstream systems and organs
  • Prevent or simultaneously alleviate diseases associated with a disturbed intestinal barrier function (leaky gut)

* Intended main effect: To bind heavy metals (lead, cadmium, arsenic, chromium and nickel) and ammonium in the gastrointestinal tract.

How can PMA zeolite help?

  • Neutralize stressors - bind pollutants
  • Influence the intestinal environment favorably (sustainable additive effect to probiotics)
  • Protect „good“ (useful) gut bacteria
  • Restore the barrier of the intestinal wall
  • Support the immune system (barrier function)
  • Reduce local & systemic inflammation
  • Relieve the burden on "downstream" systems/organs

      - Preventing or alleviating secondary diseases

PMA-Zeolite protects the body from unwanted substances

Through its proven pollutant binding effect in the gastrointestinal tract, PMA-Zeolite can contribute to the maintenance or acquisition of vitality, health, and well-being.

“The main intended action of PMA-Zeolite is to reduce the additional daily stress by reducing direct exposure to contaminants, thereby eliminating the possible causes of increased intestinal wall permeability. Through the main intended mechanism of binding contaminants, PMA-Zeolite can support the gastrointestinal tract and the organs deputed to detoxification, especially the liver*” .

Reduction of Toxins, free Radicals, Ammonium (ion) and heavy Metals is to be considered as helping factors for all pathologies which are related with the integrity of the Gastro Intestinal Wall.
Evidence-based proof of the intended main effect:

One hypothesis based on the main mechanism of action (selective binding of pollutants in vitro gastrointestinal model) is the strengthening of the functionality of the intestinal wall barrier.

This promising hypothesis was proven in a randomised placebo-controlled clinical gold standard study in which a significant decrease in the bio-marker zonulin (and thus an improvement/strengthening of intestinal wall function/integrity) was achieved. This represents the main intended action of PMA-Zeolite.
